1(1787) an opera by Mozart with words by Lorenzo Da Ponte, about a man called Don Giovanni who is known for having very many lovers. He kills the father of one of his former lovers, but does not feel guilty about his immoral behaviour. At the end of the opera he is taken down tohell by the ghost of the man he murdered.
