also the Guggenheim a museum in New York City that contains an important collection of modern art. It is named after the businessman who established it in 1939, Solomon R. Guggenheim, and is famous for its large circular building designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. In 1997 a new Guggenheim Museum, designed by Frank Gehry, was opened in Bilbao, Spain.
