a bridge over the River Thames in London, famous because of a nursery rhyme (=an old song or poem for children) called 'London Bridge is Falling Down'. In 1965, it was sold and taken to the US state of Arizona, where many tourists go to see it, and a new bridge over the Thames was built to replace it.
