Marley, Bob
(1945-81) a Jamaican singer and songwriter who, with his group The Wailers, helped to make reggae music popular. He was a rastafarian, and wore his hair in dreadlocks. His songs, which include No Woman, No Cry and Redemption Song, often have a political message.
