Rabin, Yitzhak
(1922-95 ) an Israeli politician of the Labour Party, who was prime minister from 1974-1977 and again from 1992 to 1995. In 1994 he shared the Nobel Peace Prize with Shimon Peres and Yasser Arafat. He was assassinated in 1995 when he was at a public meeting for peace.
