Sodom and Gomorrah
Sodom and Gomorrah
two ancient cities in the Middle East which, according to the Old Testament of the Bible, were destroyed by God as a punishment for the immoral sexual behaviour of their people. The cities' names are sometimes used to describe a place or situation where people's sexual behaviour is regarded as very shocking.
