Triple Crown, the
a title for winning all three of a set of important events in various sports. In British horse racing, it is especially for winning the St Leger, the Derby, and the Two Thousand Guineas. In US horse racing, it is especially for winning the Preakness, the Belmont Stakes, and the Kentucky Derby. In Rugby Union, the Triple Crown is for beating all three of the other home countries
