Aldermaston

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishAldermastonAl‧der‧mas‧ton /ˈɔːldəˌmɑːstən $ -dərˌmæs-/ 🔊 🔊 a village in Berkshire, England, known as a place where nuclear weapons are developed and produced. The Atomic Weapons Establishment was set up in 1958 and since then many anti-nuclear protests have taken place there.
