aviator sunglasses

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary Englishaviator sunglassesˈaviator ˌsunglasses (also aviators) noun [plural]  sunglasses with large oval metal frames and a bar across the top, between the parts that cover your eyes. Aviator sunglasses were originally worn by pilots.
