brain fingerprinting

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary Englishbrain fingerprintingˈbrain ˌfingerprinting noun [uncountable]  the process of measuring the electrical activity in someone’s brain to see if they react to a particular object or picture. This process could be used to check if someone is telling the truth, for example if they are answering questions from the police.
