Morricone, Ennio

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishMorricone, EnnioEnnio MorriconeMor‧ri‧co‧ne, En‧nio /mɒrɪˈkəʊni, ˈenjəʊ $ mɔːrɪˈkoʊni, ˈenjoʊ/  (1928-) an Italian composer and conductor who has written the music for more than 500 films and television programmes. He is best known for the music he wrote for four spaghetti westerns made by the Italian film director Sergio Leone: A Fistful of Dollars (1964), For a Few Dollars More (1965), The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly (1966), and Once Upon a Time in the West (1968).
