Estuary English

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishEstuary EnglishˌEstuary ˈEnglish noun [uncountable]  an English accent (=way of speaking) which is common in London and the southeast of England. Estuary English is similar in some ways to a cockney accent, but it is less strong.
