Population: 81,147,265 (2014). Capital: Berlin. It is a member of the EU. Germany is a rich, advanced industrial country, known especially for its car industry, but it also has made many laws to protect the environment. Germany is also known as a country that has produced many great musicians, including Bach, Beethoven, and Wagner.
