Gurkhas, the

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishGurkhas, thethe GurkhasGur‧khas, the /ˈɡɜːkəz $ ˈɡɜːr-/  a regiment (=a large group of soldiers) in the British army. Originally from Nepal, they are known for being small, but very brave.
