From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishHerzegovinaHer‧ze‧go‧vi‧na, Hercegovina /ˌhɜːtsəɡəˈviːnə $ ˌheərts-/  the southern region of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a country in eastern Europe that used to be part of Yugoslavia.
