From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishKeats, JohnJohn KeatsKeats, John /kiːts/  (1795–1821) a British poet and a leading figure in the romantic movement. He was known for his odes (=long poems expressing his feelings about a particular person or thing), and his most famous odes include To a Nightingale, On a Grecian Urn, and To Autumn. He died very young from tuberculosis.
