Jutland

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishJutlandJut‧land /ˈdʒʌtlənd/  a peninsula (=a long thin area of land with sea on three sides) in northern Europe belonging partly to Denmark and partly to Germany. The Battle of Jutland was fought between the British navy and German navy off the coast of Jutland in World War I.
