Liffey, the

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishLiffey, thethe LiffeyLif‧fey, the /ˈlɪfi/  a river in the Republic of Ireland which flows through Dublin. It is said that the best Guinness (=a dark Irish beer) is made using water from the Liffey.
