Drudge, Matt

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishDrudge, MattMatt DrudgeDrudge, Matt /mæt/  (1966–) a US man who runs a well-known Internet news website, the Drudge Report, which consists of links to stories in other newspapers and magazines. The website is famous for reporting that the magazine Newsweek was about to print a story about the former American President Bill Clinton, saying that he was having an affair with a White House intern, Monica Lewinski. Drudge is openly conservative and many of the stories on his website express support for the Republican party.
