Ditka, Mike

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishDitka, MikeMike DitkaDit‧ka, Mike /ˈdɪtkə/  (1939–) a famous US football player in the 1960s and 1970s, who later became the coach of the Chicago Bears team. He trained them to be one of the most successful teams in the 1980s and 1990s, and he is known for being forceful, rude, and determined to win.
