NatWest Trophy, the

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishNatWest Trophy, thethe NatWest TrophyˌNat-West ˈTrophy, the  the former name of a one-day cricket competition in the UK, in which any team that loses a game leaves the competition, so that in the end there is a final game between the two remaining teams. The competition is now called The Friends Provident Trophy.
