One Nation Party, the

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishOne Nation Party, thethe One Nation PartyOne ˈNation ˌParty, the noun  a right-wingnationalist political party in Australia, started in 1997. It opposes government policies (policy ) that give advantages to aborigines and to people coming to live in Australia from other countries. In 1998 the party won nearly a quarter of the vote in the State elections in Queensland. Since then, the party has lost a lot of support.
