From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishWhite, ReggieReggie WhiteWhite, Reg‧gie /ˈredʒi/ 🔊 🔊 (1961–2004) a former US football player known especially for playing defensive end for the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles teams. He was famous for achieving the most sacks in the history of the NFL. He was also known for his fundamentalist Christian beliefs.
