Rob Roy

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishRob RoyRob Roy /ˌrɒb ˈrɔɪ $ ˌrɑːb-/  (1671–1734) a Scottish outlaw who lived mostly by stealing cows and making people pay for protection against thieves. He is the subject of a famous novel by Sir Walter scott and of two films.
