Sitting Bull

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishSitting BullˌSitting ˈBull  (1834–90) a native american chief of the sioux tribe who helped crazy horse to win a victory over General custer‘s army of US soldiers in the battle at the little bighorn in 1876. He later performed in buffalo bill’s Wild West Show.
