Milligan, Spike

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishMilligan, SpikeSpike MilliganMil‧li‧gan, Spike /ˈmɪləɡən/  (1918–2002) an Irish comedian and writer, born in India, who lived in England, known especially for appearing on the radio programme The Goon Show(1951–59). He wrote humorous books and poetry, and was known for his style of humour which is deliberately silly.
