Telecom Tower, the

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishTelecom Tower, thethe Telecom TowerTel‧e‧com Tow‧er, the /ˌtelɪkɒm ˈtaʊə $ -kɑːm ˈtaʊər/  a very tall, narrow, circular building in central London which was built in the 1960s and used to be called the Post Office Tower. It is used for sending and receiving electronic signals for radio, telephones, and television.
