TriBeCa

From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishTriBeCaTriBeCa /traɪˈbekə/  an area of New York City in south Manhattan. The name ‘TriBeCa’ stands for ‘Triangle Below Canal.’ It was once an area mostly used by businesses, but now it is an expensive area to live in as well. There are many art galleries (gallery ), and the World Trade Center was in this area.
