From Longman Dictionary of Contemporary EnglishWayne's WorldˈWayne's ˌWorld  (1992) a US humorous film in which two young men who make an amusing programme for their local television station suddenly become popular on national television. The characters spend a lot of time thinking about girls and rock music. The film became known for certain expressions and ways of saying things, such as saying ‘not’ after a statement to show you did not mean it Oh yeah, she’s a great actor – not!
